At The Edge of The Ocean

She wept at the edge of the ocean until her salt-water pooled into the sea.

She wept for loss and disappointment, grief and anger, hurt and fear.

She was lost in a tide of deep despair… uprooted, untethered, unanchored.

Where was she to go? What was she to do? What was to become of her?

Her anguish robbed her of restful sleep and sweet dreams.

Just as exhaustion was about to drop her to her knees, He caught her in His arms.
