You Found Me Among the Stars

I saw You in a child’s eyes,
I saw You in her little smile.

I smelled You in the rain and fire,
I smelled You in the field and shire.

I heard You in orchestral strain,
I heard You in a song’s refrain.
I felt You in his warm embrace,
I felt Your comfort in this place.

I tasted You in summer wine,
I tasted You in ocean brine.

I don’t know how You found me, Dear,
among the bright and billion stars.
But I know… wherever I am,
Your love is never very far.
