Bargain at Traders Village.
Traders Village opened in 2011 and spreads out over 100 acres. As perhaps the largest weekend flea market in west Texas, more than 1,000 dealers come every weekend to flog their wares. Thousands of people come each year to browse, buy and trade in this outdoor bargain hunters’ haven. You’ll find tires, tools, Army surplus, electronics, crafts, collectibles, jewelry, furniture, clothes, and so more! They also have events and rides. (It’s free to get in but $4 for parking)
Walk the Walk.
Okay, so you can’t talk about San Antonio and not mention the River Walk. Five million visitors a year stroll up and down the river, enjoying restaurants, cafes, shops and bars. You might even find a few people enjoying a float on the riverboats piloted by San Antonio’s hilarious tour guides. Whether you are on a date, out with friends or spending some quality family time, The River Walk is the perfect place to hang out. If you find yourself on the river walk at night, you’ll enjoy a plethora of mariachis and other live music. (Free)
