Haiku Sunday (35-37)

Hero to Homeless

He came back from war,
No one cared what he had seen,
No warm welcome home.

He could not find work,
Night terrors ravaged his sleep,
War cost him a life.

Life he might have had,
Had he not have fought for you.
Hero to Homeless.
